14. My good friend, the late Jake Euker, introduced me to more new music than any one person I have ever known. This is his personal copy of Sonic Youth's "Daydream Nation," which I consider the single greatest recording in the history of man, pretty much ever. I remember hearing it all the way through for the first time, and I still get goosebumps when I hear the opening notes. A masterpiece whose influence on me as a musician cannot possibly be overstated.
