1910: M.C. Campbell residence, 1313 N. Emporia. Built by W.H. Sternberg in 1887 (in the ubiquitous Queen Anne style) for lumber king George Pratt, this house -- now on the National Register of Historic Places -- was owned in the vintage photo at left by cattle baron M.C. Campbell.
