1940: Fourth National Bank, Douglas & Market. The bank that would become Bank IV operated from this location before building their much more modern facility one block to the east (as seen in the background of the above right photo). The structure --since given a pink marble facelift --sits empty today as it prepares to be remade again, this time into loft apartments.
